1. General

By booking any service with The Headlight Guy, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. These terms ensure transparency and protection for both parties and apply to all services carried out by us.

2. Services

We provide:

• Headlight restoration and UV protection

All work is carried out on-site, at the customer’s home, workplace, or specified location.

3. Bookings & Payment

• Payment is due on completion of the job, unless agreed in writing beforehand.

• We accept cash, bank transfer, and (if enabled) mobile payment methods (e.g., SumUp).

• A non-refundable deposit may be required for larger or custom work.

4. Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Short-notice cancellations may incur a £20 fee to cover travel and time.

• In cases of no access or no-show, we reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the quoted fee.

5. Travel Charges

• Travel within 15 miles of Attleborough is included in the quote.

• Locations beyond that may incur a fuel/travel surcharge, which will be quoted in advance.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

We take pride in our work. We offer a 7-day guarantee on all Headlight restoration / Cleaning subject to proper use and care.

⚠️ We cannot guarantee:

• Repairs on heavily worn or previously repaired areas

• Damage caused by neglect, misuse, or further wear after repair

• Long-term results without proper maintenance or protection

Headlight restoration includes a UV protection application, but ongoing exposure may still cause fading over time depending on conditions.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• The vehicle must be clean and dry at the time of service (especially headlights).

• A safe working area with suitable access must be provided.

• You must inform us of any previous repairs, damage, or known issues before we begin.

8. Limitations of Liability

• The Headlight Guy is not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or customer misuse after repair.

• We are not responsible for delays due to weather, access, or third-party interruptions.

• In no event shall our liability exceed the total price paid for the service provided.

9. Photos & Marketing

We may take before and after photos for our records and marketing purposes. We will never share identifiable information (e.g., number plates) without your consent. You may opt out by informing us before your appointment.

10. Privacy Policy

Your personal information (name, address, phone, email) is used only for booking and communication purposes. We will never sell or share your details with third parties.

11. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or on request.
